The price was affordable and the location was great for exploring nearby attractions. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was also good with a variety of options to choose from.
The hotel lacked ambiance and character. The decor was outdated, and the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. The facilities were underwhelming, and the lack of attention to detail was apparent. The New Year's Eve celebration was poorly organized, with no entertainment or decorations, making the experience feel bland and uninspiring.

Nestled in a remote area, this manor is the perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle. the antique furniture and fittings throughout the building add character to the decor, while the well-appointed bedrooms offer comfortable beds and spacious accommodations. the breakfast served in a beautifully adorned room adds to the charming atmosphere. With the lake, ducks, geese, and swans adorning the expansive grounds, this manor is an exceptional base for those wanting to explore the Bas-Normandy region.

the whole atmosphere of the place was like stepping back in time, with beautiful ornaments, furniture, and flooring that truly transported me to a previous era. Our room, located on the first floor and accessed via a spiral staircase, was huge and comfortable, complete with an ensuite bathroom and a four-poster bed. the modern amenities provided in the room only enhanced our stay in this historic house. the extensive grounds with a lake and a variety of birds added to the relaxing experience. the breakfast, served by a roaring fire in the dining room, was delicious and generous. the old grandfather clock with its brass pendulum added to the charming atmosphere.
Hard to think of anything 🤔

Great view from the room balcony and close proximity to the beach were the best aspects of our stay. , the continental breakfast was quite satisfying.
Our romantic escape was ruined when we found out that the bed had bedbugs. We had to call housekeeping twice during our stay because the room was not thoroughly cleaned.

I had such a charming and relaxing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, nestled in the countryside with beautiful grounds that were meticulously maintained. Even though the rooms were going to be renovated, I still found the old-fashioned decoration quite charming. And speaking of the rooms, they were not only large and clean, but they also offered stunning views of the gardens and surrounding farm animals. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially when we missed breakfast due to a time change - they prepared a special breakfast just for us, which was a lovely gesture. The value for money was excellent, with the room rates being very reasonable considering the quality of the experience. The overall atmosphere of the hotel truly made me feel like I was stepping back in time, and the breakfast by the roaring fireplace added to the cozy ambiance.
Everything was just perfect, no improvements necessary.
